Fashion Week Brow Trends
As we all know, this year has definitely hit us with its share of unexpected surprises and changes in plans. One good thing, however, is that Fashion Week is still set to happen in September, amidst all the other madness in the world!
Good thing about this, besides glorious fashion and super trendy makeup and hair to inspire us for the upcoming season--is that we can already have a peek at what brows are trending for the next year! We love looking at the fashion pieces from world-renowned designers--but we love looking at the brows they pair with them that much more! Let's take a glance at some of the brows that have hit the runway this year already!
1. Dior
We are obsessing over this minimalistic but sultry look! Headscarves have hit the fashion scene this year in a BIG way and we aren't mad about it at all. For the Christian Dior show, this '70s inspired look was the main theme. The thick, bold eyeliner with natural, ungroomed brows paired perfectly for a hippie/chic fashionista style.
2. Margiela
Extreme is an understatement but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. The fierceness of this look can be represented in her model's eyes. The bold swatches of colors weren't just limited to the eyelids--Pat McGrath went above and beyond to transfer that color onto the brows as well. And believe it or not, it's a whole mood! The bleached brows made for a huge pop of color when using the bright pigments--shaping the brows to however she pleased, giving an optical illusion of overly lifted brow bones.
3. Chanel
Chanel's global creative makeup and color designer, Lucia Pica, decided to go for a not-so-aggressive smoky eye paired with a beautiful, natural, groomed brow. The brow was one of our top picks for this year--it looks natural, yet bold, laminated, and compliments the face, look, and makeup. It screams couture without actually yelling.
4. Sacai
