What is a Lash Lift?
A Lash Lift is a semi-permanent treatment that lifts, curls, and defines natural lashes for a wide-eyed, mascara-free look that lasts up to 6–8 weeks.
It’s the perfect solution for clients who want to enhance their natural beauty without extensions or falsies. And the best part? You don’t need a long list of tools to get started. Our Lash Lift Kit ↗ includes everything you need for professional results.
Inside the Lash Lift Kit:
- No. 1 Relaxing Solution: Softens the lashes and breaks the natural curl pattern to allow reshaping.
- No. 2 The Laminate: Sets the new lifted shape in place for long-lasting results.
- No. 3 Nourishing Elixir: Hydrates and conditions the lashes after treatment for healthy, glossy results.
- Bonding Serum: Secures lashes onto the shield for precise lifting without slipping.
- Lash Lift Tool: Helps isolate and position each lash with precision during the lifting process.
- Foam Cleanser: Gently cleans the lashes and eye area before the treatment to remove oils, dirt, and makeup.
- Sticky Lash Shields in 5 Sizes: Self-adhesive shields for every eye shape—no extra glue needed.
- Silicon Lamination Brush: Designed to evenly apply solutions without product waste or clumping.

Lash Lift Aftercare: Do’s ✅
To help your clients keep their lashes lifted, curled, and beautiful for 6–8 weeks, here are the essential aftercare tips every Brow Pro should share:
✔ Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours
This is the golden rule. No water, no steam, no tears - let those lashes set properly to lock in the lift.
✔ Gently brush lashes daily
A soft spoolie works wonders. It keeps the lashes separated and helps maintain that lifted look.
✔ Sleep on your back (or protect with a lash-friendly sleep mask)
If your client moves around at night or sleeps on their side, recommend a 3D contoured sleep mask - these masks have built-in space that protects the lashes from getting crushed while sleeping.
✔ Nourish the lashes daily
Encourage the use of a hydrating lash serum or conditioning product like our No. 3 Nourishing Elixir ↗. It keeps lashes soft, healthy, and glossy in between treatments.
✔ Rebook after 6–8 weeks
For consistent results and healthy lash cycles, clients should come back for their next Lash Lift no sooner than 6 weeks.

Lash Lift Aftercare: Don’ts ❌
Just as important as what to do is what to avoid. These no-go’s can ruin the lift and reduce the lifespan of the results:
✖ Don’t use oil-based products
Oils break down the lamination and shorten retention. Recommend oil-free makeup removers and cleansers.
✖ Don’t rub or pull on lashes
Vigorous rubbing or picking can cause lashes to fall out prematurely and ruin the curl.
✖ No mascara for the first 24–48 hours
Waterproof formulas especially can weaken the lift. After that, mascara is okay—but opt for a gentle, nourishing one.
✖ Avoid heat and steam
Hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms should be skipped during the first 48 hours to prevent the lift from relaxing too soon.
✖ No eyelash curlers
The lash lift already gives a natural curl - mechanical curling tools can damage or distort the lashes.

Common Lash Lift mistakes
Even when your Lash Lift application is flawless and you’re using a pro-level Lash Lift Kit ↗, the longevity of the results heavily depends on your clients’ aftercare. And let’s be real - some myths just keep going around. Time to set the record straight and help your clients avoid the most common lash lift mistakes!
1. Swimming too much on vacation
Why it's a problem: Even though Lash Lifts are water-resistant after 24–48 hours, frequent water exposure, especially from salty seawater or chlorine, can weaken the lifted curl.
What to tell your clients: “If you’re planning to swim every day on vacation, your lash lift might not last as long. Try to avoid getting your lashes wet too often for the best results.”
2. Getting a Lash Lift too often
Why it's a problem: Some clients love the lifted look so much, they book their next appointment way too soon - even with other salons while traveling. This can overprocess the lashes, leading to dryness or breakage.
What to tell your clients: “It’s best to wait at least 6 weeks between Lash Lifts to let your lashes fully recover. A treatment too soon can actually damage them.”
3. Skipping the tint
The lash lift gives curl and lift - but without tint, the lashes might not pop as much, especially for clients with lighter or sparse lashes.
What to recommend: “For a fuller effect, I always recommend tinting after the lift. My go-to? The Liquid Dye in Black ↗ or a mix with Ash Grey ↗ for a soft but bold finish.”
Learn more about Mixing Liquid Dye colors here ↗.

4. Sleeping with lashes pressed
Why it's a problem: After a fresh Lash Lift, sleeping face-down or with lashes pressed into a pillow can ruin the shape.
Pro tip to share: “Invest in a sleep mask designed for lash lifts - the kind with a dome shape so your lashes aren’t crushed overnight. It makes a huge difference!”
